Digital signage simplified
Two common complaints about digital signage are that of cost and complexity. Many of todays signage solutions rely on implementing a costly infrastructure of servers and networking, demand that users install and learn proprietary software packages, and even require physical access to the signs to make changes to the playlist or schedule. This is all ridiculous to us. We know that success is measured by our customers in simplicity and effectiveness.
Signage as a service
Easy, intuitive sign management is what we do. Forget having to install software on your PC as all you need is a web browser. Absolutely everything from storing your media, to monitoring your signs, to scheduling content, even designing your own templates for content layout - it's all done online. You'll also be happy to hear there are no servers to install and manage as well as no site licenses to worry about. Whew!
Broad media support
Content is king and we do our best to support all popular formats including 1080p
HD video, Adobe Flash, YouTube, Powerpoint, and even Live Television. Incorporate

Realtime player monitoring
The status and health of your player hardware is always available in realtime including analysis of CPU usage, memory usage, and disk capacity. Live snapshots of the actual player output provide an instant indication of what's currently playing.
Scheduling
Schedule your content to play by daypart, weekday, date range, and more. Use the calendar view to quickly determine schedule coverage and conflicts. Assign players to a schedule by physical location, group, smart tags, and other device metrics.
Design your own layout
Use the template designer to compose your presentations with a few clicks of the mouse. Our players support unlimited "zones" or content areas with layering, transparency, and animation. Preview mode allows content creators to visualize the template before deployment and to make pixel perfect adjustments.
Reporting
Integrated reporting provides instant access to device acivity history and proof of play. All reports are exportable to various formats including excel, pdf, xml, csv, or image.
Security
Provide fine grained access to your account with our role based permission system. For example, give advertisers access to uploading new media and allow your content creators only access to the template designer. Our servers also utilize 128 bit encryption to ensure the security of your data.
Kiosk & scripting
Our player is more than just a pretty face. Power users can utilize the RevelScript engine to take full control of the live template and implement virtually any level of functionality. Add user interactvity for kiosk applications, pull data from proprietary data sources, or integrate with 3rd party applications.
Hardware
We offer a variety of player configurations from tiny standalone units to large format all-in-one displays with integrated player hardware and touch screen. We source from quality vendors like ViewSonic and Lenovo to ensure reliability and performance. All of our players are plug and play requiring just a network and display connection. Please contact us or your reseller for pricing and availability.
Video wall support
Our hardware supports up to 4 independent displays connected to a single player device. This means more visual real estate available for menu boards or any other large format situations.

Player software is automatically updated anytime new features are added to the platform. We are continually improving both the management portal and player software to provide our customers the latest and greatest.
Developer API
Create your own custom applications with our web based API. Developers can access player status, reports, schedules, and other account information through a familiar REST style interface.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes your product so different?
Our product is a true digital signage platform. This means we provide the tools and capabilities necessary to implement nearly any signage scenario imaginable.
What does SAAS mean?
SAAS is an acronym for Software As A Service and refers to any web or cloud based software accessed through a web browser. RevelDigital is web based so we say it uses the SAAS software model.
Can I cancel my account at any time?
Yes, we do not mandate any long term contracts. You can cancel at any time without penalty.
How does a video wall work?
We have custom hardware capable of displaying up to 4 independent screens simultaneously. You simply design your template as you would a single screen and the content will span all 4 screens.
What about security?
Our software is designed to communicate over standard HTTP protocols and will generally have no problem navigating firewalls. We also generate all traffic outbound from the player so there is no need to open up or compromise your network security in any way. We also utilize SSL on our management site.
What if I want to use my own hardware?
No problem. We can provide the installation package for our player software free of charge. We do not however offer any support for 3rd party hardware.
What do I need for hardware?
We can support any connected PC running Windows 7, but typically Atom/ION configurations work best. The Lenovo Q150 is a great example of power/size/cost balance.
How do I get started?
Any of our resellers can set you up with the hardware and activate your RevelDigital account, or you can contact us directly.
What if I need help getting started?
We work hard to create a simple and intuitive product but if necessary we provide one free online training session to get you aquainted with our service. We also have a dedicated support site available for further assistance.
What types of displays can I use?
We can support any display with HDMI or VGA input at most any standard resolution. It's recommended to use a commercially rated display for most signage applications since they are designed for 24/7 use and are usually brighter with higher contrast.
What options are available for kiosk or interactive displays?
Any sign can quite easily be transformed into an interactive kiosk with a few lines of scripting. For those not comfortable with scripting we can do it for you at an hourly rate.
Why the monthly service fee?
To keep our servers running! Some competitors rely on advertising revenue which we would argue isn't in the best interests of our customers. We also don't charge for weather, data feeds, and other components that are commonly an additional charge. Plus we don't know when to quit adding new player capabilities, free templates, and free template components.
