Acquaint is a standalone AI agent developed specifically for digital signage and related applications. Acquaint has the ability to interact with users in a human-like fashion, answering questions and performing actions. Its knowledge is based on your content uploaded and scheduled using the Revel Digital CMS.

Unlike many AI solutions, Acquaint is an edge device which means it is able to be deployed standalone with or without internet connectivity, and with or without a digital signage component. By running on the edge, Acquaint is able to deliver reliable, consistent performance not dependent on connection quality or latency.

Acquaint does not necessarily need a digital signage component, but when coupled with a screen, Acquaint is able to trigger content or perform custom actions based on conversational context.

For example, say a restaurant has a digital menu board posted outside of their restaurant. Acquaint would offer the ability for customers to simply ask about menu options and Acquaint would not only reply with details about the item audibly, but also trigger content specific to that item on the menu board.

Short answer, like any other device in the Revel Digital ecosystem. Acquaint appears in your Revel Digtal account as managed device with the ability to schedule content and monitor activity.

By scheduling content to Acquaint you have the power to determine what the AI has knowledge of and when. For example, if a restaurant has different menus for lunch and dinner, simply schedule the appropriate content to Acquaint based on time of day. This keeps Acquaint laser focused on only relevant information.

Utilize our AdHawk Analytics platform to track interactions with Acquaint. Acquaint has the ability to track individual sessions providing valuable insights such as session duration, questions asked, content triggered, and even the overall tone of the engagement.
